In Europe, it's easy to get everywhere inexpensively. Now that the world has figured out we can work without being in the office, why wouldn't I want to live in a place where I can surf in every morning and then simply train/fly to a city when/if I want or need the cultural pick-me-up?

New job, 2020 college grad! Unrelated but convenient, the UK is not bumbling their COVID response to the same extreme degree as the USA, so turns out its likely going to be a great decision for my health as well.
Love it or hate it, the work and opportunities will always be in the big cities. Zoom has been great but I think in time people will miss that face-to-face contact and socialising with other people in person. Something I currently don't have out in the sticks away from my friends and colleagues.
We’re moving as our daughter just graduated high school and leaves for college (maybe). My wife has been commuting back and forth to London for nearly two years, so we’ll both go now. My wife has been here in Jersey City since February. I’ll teach virtually from London as I’m a university professor.
